I had it running on a single-phase house (with only a 5kw Inverter) for years and never had to pay for electricity ever! (2 persons living in the house) It’s definitely a must have if you don’t have batteries. Now I am waiting for this new upgraded model to install with my new solar battery system to see how much that will help me. The only reason why I upgraded to a battery system is because a big hailstorm destroyed my previous solar system last year and I was keen to play with a battery. Personally, I believe the cost of batteries is not worth it at all, if you get a ControlaSola device installed!
